After years of engaging experts to be witnesses, I realised that there is very little education out there to assist professionals know how to deliver peak performances as expert witnesses.
To be honest, even lawyers don't always have a good grasp on the intricacies of the rules around expert evidence.
However, expert evidence can be crucial to a case. So the experts need to be at the top of their game.
I have spent the last 10 years researching expert evidence and teaching professionals how to hone their craft. But many professionals simply dont have the time to attend lengthy seminars or conference or lectures to learn these new skills.
So I decided to develop courses that are more suited to the busy life of a professional. This is how the Expert Witness Coach was born!
My courses are delivered in short tailored modules. This will allow you to gain skills at your own pace and your own time. The short lesson structure means you can view a lesson on your commute to work, or between patients/clients, on lunch break. Alternatively, you can power ahead and watch as many lesson as you want in one hit! The choice is yours!
My mission is for you to complete my course having a concrete understanding of your role in the legal system, what is expected of you and how to deliver a great product.

What to know more about our credentials?
I graduated from the University of Queensland with an Honours Law degree (LLB) and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology.
After finishing law school in 1999, I worked in one of the largest commercial law firms in Australia. I spent 12 years practicing in insurance litigation, commercial litigation and defamation litigation. During that time, I had the privilege of running claims through a range of courts including the High Court of Australia, High Court of Hong Kong, Federal Court of Australia, Queensland Court of Appeal and the Queensland Supreme and District courts.
I then spent 8 years at one of the largest plaintiff firms in Australia where I assisted claimants to seek justice in a range of areas: estate litigation, professional negligence claims, injury claims and insurance litigation.
I am currently Special Counsel and Practice Leader at the fastest growing personal injury firm on the Gold Coast where I focus on using effective advocacy and targeted use of expert evidence to tell my client's journey so their story leaps off the page to the insurer!
Since 2011, I have been an Adjunct Senior Teaching Fellow at Bond University, where I authored and lectured a post-graduate subject on Expert Evidence.
I am regularly invited to present lectures at various industry conferences (eg Queensland Law Society, Australian Lawyers Alliance, and Gold Coast District Law Association).
I try to also give back to the community. I sit on the boards of Rotary (Gold Coast Corporate Club) and Gold Coast District Law Association (including being Immediate Past President). I have sat on the management committee of My Community Legal and still volunteer at their free legal advice clinics.
